What is your favorite culinary school?

What's ur favorite part about high school?

  • PLEASE ANSWER ONLY IF YOU ARE IN HIGH SCHOOL RIGHT NOW. I am really nervous for high school next year. I just got my letter saying that I was accepted into the school that I applied for, but I am not that excited. I am going to the high school (HS) that most of my friends are going to which is great, but it is a school for guys and girls. And I really wanna go to a girls school, but my parents won't let me-they are making me go to the HS that my sisters go to. I guess it sounds sort of exciting, but idk. Tell me what u love about HS! I want to be excited for it and not completely dread it over the summer and the rest of this school year. What do u like about it? Do u like going to a HS with guys and girls?

    you shouldnt be nervous at all! i like in a small town, so it might be different for me because there's less kids at my school than yours, but ill tell you what i think. im in gr 11..my 3rd year in highschool and im still excited in it. your friends are gonna be there with you so no problem! dont go to an all girls school, it wont give you the real world experience.. and youre more likely to make more friends at a normal highschool. and your sisters there too! why are you worrying girl? what i love is that youre not treated like a baby anymore. you feel like youre starting your life. you meet so many new cool people who have lots of the same interests as you. theres so many clubs and interesting things to do. i got to go to france last year with my highschool(only the french class, but it was amazing). ALSO THE PARTIES!.. youre gonna learn so many new things, in school and out. you might try some new things too.. dont be scared but use your brain!... i promiseee you, you dont have to dread it.. its really no different from elementary, except that its a bigger school, more kids and more classes. i like the fact that you have your own locker and get to go from class to class! its so sweet good luck, youl have a blast! i promise and it goes by sooo fast, i warn you.. so use your time wisely hah.. you can have fun in grade 9 and 10, but after that you should start making career choices! I like all the extra activities you get to do! You also get to know your teachers better and get to go on loads more exciting trips and stuff!!!!

I'm in grade ten now. I live in Canada (you live in the US right?) High school is so much better. You get more choice and freedom. I think the best part is that there is ALOT more people. It may sound scary at first but this way you make lots of new friends. For me it was really good because I really like art. In public school we maybe had art every Friday; maybe. In high school I get well, free art classes; everyday! I met people who like art too; where as in public school I was the only one. Don't worry and stress over it like I did summer of grade 8. You will be fine. It can seem like alot to take in the first day. But you adjust really quickly. The most important thing to remember is : YOU WILL NOT GET LOST! Good Luck!

THE BEST THING I LIKED ABOUT THE HIGH SCHOOLS IS THE AMOUNT OF CREATIVITY SKILLS DOES THIS PERIOD INCULCATES IN A STUDENT. IT IS FULL OF FUN AND IT ALSO PROVIDES US WITH A BIT MORE RESPONSIBLE APPROACH TOWARDS OUR LIFE. IF U HAVE GOT ADMITTED TO A JOINT SCHOOL THEN IT'S A GREAT CHANCE FOR U TO MEET MANY PEOPLE AND UNDERSTAND WHAT DOES THIS WORLD IS STRIVING FOR
