How can one study effectively, one day before the exam?
-
Tuesday: Religion exam Wednesday: French Exam Thursday: Geography Exam Friday: Science Exam School starts at 8:20, but exams start at 9:30 and end at 11:00. We have 1 hour before the exam to study. After the exams are done, we can go home and study for the next day's exam. Religion and French are pretty easy, but I have over 200 pages of notes for science and geography. How do I study for those? I'll stay up 24 hours if I have to, I just have to do really well on my exams. I went from an 86% average in science to a 64 from slacking off after midterms. The highest I can get in science is a 72 or 73 if I get perfect on my exam.

Answer:
Next year do your studying week-by-week. You can't learn a term's worth of subject in one day. This year? Just relax (nervousness can knock 30 points off your test score), read your notes (don't study - read) and do the best you can. If you paid attention in class that's 75% of the battle - you don't have to cram. (Cramming before an exam, if you know the subject usually lowers your score.)

No u do nott need an alnighter for that. Even though you have 200 pages of notes, only study the most important things then use the old questions in ure notes to practice. Also, get all of youre unit tests and use that as ure review pakage L:D hope this helps.

Start as soon as possible and study for about half an hour at a time, then take a break, then half hour and so on. If you do this your brain won't get exhausted from looking at the same subject for nonstop, and it'll make it easier to review, just every next study session you look over what you've done real quick then study some more.

Everyone's physiology is different with respect to energy level. Some are morning people, others are night people. I'm a morning person, so I would go to bed early (10:00 PM) then rise at 4:00 AM and study until 7:00 AM. My ability to concentrate and absorb information was optimum during those times. Never had a problem with exams. As for studying one day before an exam, forget it, you're toast.
Ok, well, I would have told you to study a little bit every day, but apparently, you only have one day, so my best bet to you would be to cram. stay up 24 hours. GOOD LUCK. :)

You recall facts best under the same conditions that you learn them. Studying when tired is no good. Unless you are tired when you take the exam. Same applies if you are full of caffeine while studying or in the exam room.
