Why do my pictures have a black background when I copy them?

MSWord help: want to put a picture as background but can't see text ...?

  • Hi:D For a project, I made a collage of pictures on the Internet and I put it as the background on Word. Well, I didn't use the background tool, I just copy and pasted it and made the size bigger. The thing is -I have to write a poem above the collage but you can't see it in some parts. The collage is very bright and colorful so some parts you can see it, some parts you can't, no matter what the color is. I tried putting it as washout/watermark but it was too-too light. Is there any website in which I can type the paragraphs and it'll give it to me outlined with another color, like it does on Photoshop? [You can outline text with another color so you can see it better] I don't have Photoshop. Or a way to do that on MSWord? OR any suggestions/tips/advice at all? Thank you so much if you decide to help. :D ♥

  • Answer:

For those kinds of things I always use PowerPoint. You can adjust the paper size to fit an 8.5X11 sheet of paper and you can do all sorts of different text things there. Or, you can always just copy and paste that to your word document too. (to change the size of your slide so it can easily be printed out: go to design, page setup, and then change the width and length)
