Help with a name for my website business?

Business name and Website Name Help?

• Hi I am thinking of opening an eCommerce store. I have a company that operates under XYZ Holdings LLC. For branding purposes for the corporate site, I don't want to use XYZ Holdings LLC because of the way it sounds instead I want to make it XYZ EStore so the domain will be XYZeStore.com And Under XYZeStore I will have several sites created by me. And would like to add at the bottom, "A Site From XYZeStore.Com". Is this legal? or do I need to file an actual form with the states that I'm doing this? I'm From NYC.

  You don't have to pay taxes on the stuff you buy and sell on the internet, but, you still have to register to conduct business in your state. a DBA "doing business as" is the least expensive to get, usually about 15 dollars (10 here in texas) but, if you don't register they can take any inventory you have and alot of other stuff you don't want to get into if it only costs 15 bucks to stay out of. An LLC is a legal status, so the filing for the state to be an llc is usually ALOT more than you may want to pay until the business starts running good, then you would file an LLC with the state, the IRS, and get an EIN number from the IRS. her in Texas depending on what you are selling determines what type of LLC you are. They can cost 300 for a regular and 750 for professional (like Dr. and Lawyer LLC's) you need to go to NY state website and walk around a bit to determine what is best, you don't need a lawyer at this point.
