What is the best website to sell my merchandise?

How do you sell merchandise through your website?

  • Im interested in creating a website and selling merchandise through it. How would i go about selling my merchandise? Would i have to register with paypal ? Could i operate independently or would i have to do buissness through a sales agent like "Ze stuff"? If anyone has any information on this subject, i'd appreciate it very much. Thank you.

I'm not completely sure.. BUT there was this thing I was going to buy last year called Mr Site, where you can create your own website, and there is a feature where you can sell merchandise. Here's a link: http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/mr.-site/index.html You can probably get one on ebay for cheaper though

Some sellers provide affiliate deals, they give you a certain percentage of any sale you bring them. You could also theoretically buy the product with the money they send you and then ship it over. It does not make much sense to do that though... You might run into problems with copyright infringement if you use pictures, for example, to which the other company owns the rights.

If you're using a portal to build your website, such as "Homestead" or another web site builder, they offer 'store front' type websites that you can build. Your customers would be able to view your merchandise and pay you through their credit cards or paypal, if thats what you want. I use paypal all the time its very useful, I'd recommend it. I also use homestead, however I dont have a store front type website.

I have set up my own website and I sell what I want to sell with NO ONE telling what I can and cannot sell or what prices to sell at. There are a number of places you can go to accept payments online paypal is not the only one, check out your options. The most difficult thing you will find is the advertising. If you would like any more info my contact details are on my profile page

a number of ways.the most obvious being a paypal account.. but you can speak to the bank about a "merchant" account also whatever u choose they charge per transaction.e.g. 2 % etc.. so up to you who ya choose, just make sure it's very secure..
