How do I put something for sale on ebay?

Does ebay or amazon charge you to put something up for sale?

    ebay yes. you pay a little up front and then a back end commission amazon no, they take a % of the amount you sold it for as a commission, as well as some other fees off that.. BUT ONLY IF IT SELLS

Ebay will take a very small percentage of what you earn from your purchase, I believe. It's really an insignificant amount, and if the item doesn't sell, I don't think they take anything. I'm not sure about Amazon, however.

yup, they either do a percentage or a fixed number per price(ex- $2 for anything over $100). i dont remember what they do but I know they do one of those

Both will charge $$$. But ebay will relist an item for free if it doesn't sell. And ebay charges a very small percentage of the final selling cost plus a listing fee. But it takes awhile to get paid through ebay because they use PayPal. PayPal is really frustrating to work with.

Yes they both do. Ebay do a lot of sellers sales. What that means is reduced rated when you post items on certain days.
