Go to ebay and go to the help button type in listing fees into the search button and viola it tells you! They vary so you need to check it out Ps what above person told you is sooooo wrong!

Books and CD's etc cost 5p to list if the starting price is 99p or under, then it goes up to 10p if starting price is higher than that. Other items cost 15 to list at 99p or under, to add a gallery photo it's 15p, to add extra pics costs 12p each, it goes up depending on what extra's you want. If you accept paypal they take a percentage of the final selling price, sometimes it seems more trouble than it's worth.

When you add up the listing fee, the closing fee, the paypal fee and any shop fee you may pay, its about 15% !! Rip off.

Usually it will be a local thing. There will be websites out there, but you aren't going to use an eBay seller service which is based in Cornwall when you live in Scotland now, are you? So, why not do a yell.com search for "eBay" and search within your local area, for example? Better still why not visit the eBay message board and ask there - you are guaranteed to get an answer. Note that if you are not selling anything of real value it will simply not be worth it - ALL fees are minused out of what your item sells for and a further 15-50% is taken as commission. If time = money you'd be better off selling the stuff yourself, the extra money will be worth the effort. This is assuming what you are selling will go into the triple digits +. But then, if what you are selling is only double digit quality, again sell yourself. In other words, dont bother using an eBay seller service, its a rip off and basically cancels out any real benefit. In any case, eBay is a major flaming c*nt hole and the whole premise of the service is totally flawed; only plebs use eBay.
