Most companies buy mailing lists already in digital form from each other. Instead of filling out paper forms that would need to be entered into a computer, companies are collecting the information through websites. With stronger consumer data protection laws, most personal or confidential information can not leave a secured facility such as an office with physical and electronic security so keying in this stuff from home can't happen anymore. Sorry to be so negative but there are a lot of scams out there. Anyone who asks you to send them money first, is a scammer so please be careful if you pursue any "work at home" opportunities.

Remember nothing is what it seems. send a message to [email protected] if you really want a job that can pay and is simple. you get to start working that same day. Nobody pays someone to do online data entry. Everyone does their own data entry over the internet nowadays. They are ALL scams, don't waste your time.
