How do you instant message someone?

How do I report someone sending explicit sexual material to my instant message board, and they will not stop?

  • Somehow these people I do not know have gotten my instant message board and continue to send me explicit sexual instant messages eventhough I have threatened to contact legal authorities. I am outraged. I thought Yahoo held to a higher standard then that. I would remove them from my instant message contact list, but I do not know how to go about it. I have sought the help of informed individuals with no success. Please Help!

    A case similar to this has happened to me in the past. If you report them, that causes no affect what so ever. What you have to do, is contact Yahoo! Answers' Team via their direct e-mail. I will have it listed below. You can contact them involving anything. [email protected]

Click messenger top left in the messenger window scroll down click preferences then scroll and click ignore list. In the next window you will see where to add people to your ignore list or you could check ignore anyone not on my friend's list. then click o.k.
