How stackoverflow maintains the number of views per post?

I am tryin to have a Message board post of mine deleted and I need help locating the message number 2 the post

  • I filled out a message deletion form for yahoo and they wrote me back saying they need certain verifying information that I used when I signed up. thats is no problem. But on top of that they say that they need the message number for the specific post. I wrote them back asking where I can locate the message number for the post and all they did is post the same premade message to me they sent the first time without answering my question. My question to you all is where do I locate a Message Post number to a specific post? This is the text from the yahoo e-mail "In addition to the above information, also include the name of the Message Board, the message subject of your post as well as the message number." Please help if you can this is highly annoying. Thank you for your time.

  • Answer:

Unfortunately, the Customer Care department that handles the Message Boards is really not into what they're doing these days because most people seem to think that message boards are no longer a branch within Yahoo! services. Additionally, these post deletion forms probably wouldn't apply to special interest boards such as the Avatars message board. So if they don't delete the post within a few more days, I would tell you that they probably never will.
