How many 20kva perkins generators can fit in a 40foot container?

How many cases can actually be fit into a 40' container?

  • We plan to ship up to 600 cases of wine. How many cases can actually be fit into a 40' container?

  • Answer:

Well a standard 40 foot container is 40 feet long,8 foot wide, and 8 feet high(actually 8 foot 6 inches high and wide, but use 8 feet to be safe),if you get a hi cube it is 9 feet 6 inches high but same width and length. Liquid is heavy so you wont use all the space up anyway, you will be overweight before you run out of room. Measure your cases to get your cubic measurement, and multiply the weight by 600 cases to get your total weight.

An ISO compliant FEU container is 40x8x8 so unless they are airline size bottles you will need more than one FEU container to ship 600 cases and you also have weight considerations

i have to agree with the weight, you'll run out of weight capacity before you run out of space.
