Ship something to canada?

  • i recently sold something on ebay. apparently the seller lives in canada, and i live in california. what would be the cheapest way to ship, and how long... what is a customs value? please let me know..

    Shipping to Canada is pretty much like anywhere i n the USA, so it depends on size and weight, plus what it is. You need to tell the shipping company what it is and it's value. Try UPS or even the Post Office, if it's small enough. Good Luck!

Please don't ship via UPS - your Canadian buyer will end up paying the crazy brokerage fees that UPS charges. I live north of the border and never buy anything off ebay unless it is shipped USPS. Duty is paid by the buyer - if it is a product manufactured in the US or Mexico, they will only pay taxes and a small brokerage fee. They may be charged duty on products from other countries - unless the value of the product is less than $10 or so.
