Hi im 13 years old and i would lik 2 take the online boating test for a boating certificate thingg. i live in California 1. Am i to young to get one? 2.if i don't get it, can i still operate a seadoo/jet ski with a person 18+? 3.how hard is the test

You are not too young to get the boaters safety course certificate. California allows 12 year of age to operate boats. Persons 12 to 15 years of age may operate a vessel powered by a motor of 15 horsepower or more, including personal watercraft, if they are supervised on board by a person at least 18 years of age. The exam is not too hard, you just need to read the material and understand it. You may practice the exam too before you take it. Good Luck - Boat Safe!
