Boat Hull ID number where?
-
I cant seem to find out any information about a small jon boat. The Hull number only seems to have 9 numbers but it is registered..which I cant seem to find any information about that either. SN: Who's used the JB water weld..does it work?

Answer:
I just 'googled' JB Water Weld Reviews and Amazon has it rated at 4 out of 5 stars. Might be a good idea for a "quick fix" but in my opinion, I'd research a bit more if it's for a long term repair. Check a marine supply and get their opinion also. I understand there are a number of good repair epoxies and "no torch" weld repair materials out there. As for the hull number, after 1984 there should be 12 numbers. http://www.boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/hin.html

JB is great stuff. I use it all the time. I would go with the nine numbers.
