After they make Styrofoam, what do they ship it in?

    Moulded packaging is stacked, paper wrapped and shrink-wrapped together into 'blocks' - these are stacked in groups of four or more, have cardboard wrpped around them and the whole lot shrink-wrapped for transport - often a very cheap and basic skid is on the bottom for forklifts. Loose fill is sealed into polythene bags, and then is packed in sturdy cardboard boxes for shipping. I ran an export business for a while - that is how all my packaging arrived.

depending on the shape of the styrofoam, and the quanity ordered, it is shipped in plastic bags, wrapped in paper, or in cardboard boxes. hope this helps
