How much does an Ordinary Seaman make? deep sea & over seas.?
-
Ive asked his a bunch of times just thought i may get a new response

Answer:
A merchant mariner seaman with a MMD or Z Card should be able to make about a hundred bucks a day clear, considering that you'll be working half-time watches (4on,4off;8on,8off), and you will be getting overtime pay for all over 40 hr/wk (about 20more hr/wk) But the cool thing is, you ain't got anywhere to SPEND it! The food is usually great, and the work is plenty hard enough (in spurts) to make you sleep good. Don't play tonk with anyone who's been on more than 10 cruises though! (lol) . By the way, did my answer match? Why didn't you like your OLD responses? . If it's the sea you love, and not the security of a steady paycheck, you can make more $$$$ fishing (on the days the fish co-operate) Bob
