What is the best way for me to get my Canadian Boating License?

Is there a way to get a Boating Captains license without going through the hard course?

  • I know somebody who went to a 2 week course to take the Captains license exam and said it was very hard and gruling. I want to get mind but dont have so many weeks to waste and im not very good with tons of work and tests. Anybody know a way around that to get the license. jaybe a shorter easier class?

That way we can steer clear of wherever you may be on the water for I sure wouldn't want you to have missed the part of the course on navigational right of way. If you're looking to cut corners I'm sorry to say that you really and truly do not deserve to earn to hold the license. If you're going to do it then do it right and earn it just like everyone before you or find something else to do with your time. This course is tough for a reason and if you can't understand why...

There is a lot to learn in the captains license course, and the two week course is intense. How could you even think you could absorb all that material in an easier, shorter fashion? I would suggest you start learning basic material on your own time. At some point taking the course should be easy.

no prob ross. You can get a captains hat at any unform store, in fact you can get the entire uniform there. And poof, you are captain.
