How can you make money sailing?

  • I love sailing more than anything in the world and I don't want to work in an office for 9 hours a day and not get to sail unless it's a holiday. So I was wondering if there's a career where you can sail and make a living

Ive made money with boats for over 40 YEARS.. You MUST have a LICENSE because no commercial boat or ship can hire you without one and no INSURANCE company is going to insure a boat for delivery or charter by someone without a license. YOu can do DELIVERIES and CHARTERS and you can TEACH NAVIGATION and BOATING SKILLS but you will never get rich.. BUT.. if you don't want to be rich and have a lot of things and stuff, then living on a boat and being on the water to earn a living is a great way to go
