How do you get a job on a marlin fishing boat like on discovery channel swords?

If you are so SIMPLE MINDED that you have to find a JOB from watching DISNEY on TV.. then you need to just keep flipping burgers. Go to ANY PORT and go to ANY FISHING DOCK and WALK DOWN THAT DOCK talking to everyone until YOU FIND A JOB on a SPORT fishing boat. It's not the FUN JOB you think it is.. it's a HARD, DIRTY, SMELLY JOB to be a deck hand on ANY fishing boat and that includes SPORT FISHING

Here's an actual answer, instead of a bunch of juvenile name-calling: The boats on Swords are engaged in commercial fishing for swordfish; I don't know whether marlin are taken in the same way; it seems unlikely given their size and strength, which is far superior to swordfish. If it's marlin you want, that would be on a sportfishing vessel. Those are easy to find, as they will be advertising on the internet for customers, so you can discover where they are, who the captain is and all that. If its commercial fishing that appeals to you, you'll have to do a bit of reseach to find out where they are. Either way, you just have to start calling or visiting, expressing your desire to become a deckhand. I guess you know, you have to start at the bottom and work your way up.
