What oil should I use in my 2006 Sea-Doo RXP?

What upgrades would be necessary to get a 2006 Seadoo RXP to go 78-80mph?

  • As I just stated, also would re routing the exhaust help with horsepower gains or would it just make it sound sweet. Either way I am getting it, I would prefer Riva Racing Performance Parts and I mean I know how it all works to benefit power but how is it installed, for the necessary upgrades will the installation be difficult, as in I should take it to the Seadoo shop for them to work on it instead of me(I have rebuilt a single cylinder(ATV), a V8 and a lawn mower, I have never rebuilt a 3 cylinder so please let me know so it can be ready for the upcoming season)

you're looking at spending a lot of money to go an extra 6-7 mph. plus you're cutting down on the reliability, and resale value. you could possibly be ahead by trading up to an RXP-X. it's 255hp and does 0-50 in 2.9 sec right out of the box. tops out around 70, and maybe with an impeller upgrade, a pump wedge, and an anti-cavitation cone you can get 4-5 mph and still keep it in warranty

I just want to say----80 mph on a ski-doo----Holy criminy I went 70 on a bass boat and need some hair transplanted. I would want wings if I was going that fast over the water! With the exception of a few special tools and guages to set up the pump, you should do just fine -provided that V-8 ran longer than 20,000 miles???
