Is it possible to make a yacht?

I'm trying to make a marina/yacht club manager a full time career, any suggestions?

  • I'm currently working at a yacht club on Long Island and its seasonal. I'm trying to make it a fulltime career but its tough to do up here (in the northeast). I'd like to move down south or to the west coast and I'm having a really hard time finding places and job postings. Any suggestions? I have a degree in Communications and 5 years marina experience. Where should I look?

    Being in the marine industry, I have a few ideas for you. Find the area you want to be in, look at a few web sites for Mercury Marine, Volvo Penta, Marine Max etc. Look for job postings, dealer locator's for the area you want and call/apply. You may want to look into business management courses also, most helpful.
