I own a 2000 Hunter 212 Sailboat w/centerboard and need new anchor line. Not sure what size I need.

Answer:
I believe the recommendation is 1/8" for every 7' of boat length so 3/8" would be fine.

3/8"is plenty large enough the key is the correct type of anchor and size for the bottom, also a length of chain at anchor end will help greatly.

Go with 1/2" and remember with an anchor line, what holds the boat in place is the longer the line the better. 21' boat X 3 rule = 300ft of line would be best.
