Is the Buzzer a good fly for fly fishing?

I have a johnson 150gt 1986. I can not get the oil injector buzzer to work. Help?

  • This is my first fishing boat. When I winterized it last fall it worked fine. Now that I have gotten it ready for the lake this year the buzzer no longer works. I am not going to take it out on the water with out this alarm being ok. Also the rpm gauge on the boat doesn't work. Does anyone now the answers?

  • Answer:

If you are "Smart"... You will simply add the required oil to the gas as you refuel..... Usually a pint to 6 gallons of gas..... Then you will not have to worry about the damn...BUZZER.... About all the BUZZER is good far is.... To let you know you NEED A NEW ENGINE! This goes for any oil injected outboard...... And FOOD FOR thought... IF the "Marine Mechanic" or SALESMAN.... tells you the auto injector and BUZZER is better......ASK HIM if HE will replace the ENGINE.... when or if it FAILS!? HAVE HIM PUT IT IN WRITING!

fuses? most alarms sound when grounded. check juice to it, and with that, ground it, it should sound off. tach may be on same circuit. check all connections.
