Where is the Gillette firm located in Bangalore?

Why atleast one director choosen from AP forsatyam computers since located in Andhra Pradesh?

  • Satyam computers was established in A.P.and out of 53,000 employees maiximum hails from this state and knowing the local language will be an added advantage to the board, to have known ways and means for putting the firm on rails once again by speaking with employees more intimately, to know where the fault lies. Further why dont they find the CEO hails from hyd/bangalore/chennai or a senior official who was sincere and honest and known about functioning of satyam well enough may be an added advantage, but I am not against choosing from other parts of India, only I expressed my opinion in the interest of bringing back satyam on to the track , frankly there was no regional feeling , what do u say?

    at this stage when our indian corporate, more specifically IT industries trust worthiness is more questionable and our image has been seriously tarnished both in India and world over, i guess its the action which matters; we should praise Govt's intervention and the idea to form a board comprising of emininent personalities, who are experts in handling crisis; i guess we should not really be too regional or emotional here, for not having people for south or north. the situation deems action which can bring in trust and win confidence amongst all stakeholders.

I was born in AP and live in Hyderabad. I have no problem who the CEO/Board Members are as long as Satyam is brought back to normal. Well, your opinion is indeed reflective of regionalist feelings. You are entitled to your opinion. But my friend I think its not logical. Just to play the devil, look what a bunch of APites have done to the company in the first place. Can we still dream of bringing in them without giving weight to their abilities and credentials? We need the best people now. APites or otherwise should really not matter.
