  • Answer:

Visit Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation office ,Karnataka tourism ,Kerala Tourism ,AP tourism office in Mumbai .Take brochers of all and plan your visit .But I must say 10 days are not enough for entire south India .At least 1 month is required to visit .So I advise there are plenty of Travel Agents in Mumbai for package tour which is very good and hassel free .Take the case of visiting Tirupati and Rameshwaram ,Minashkhi Temple .It takes some time 2 to 3 days to enter these temple if you go alone on your own programme .

places you can visit: ooty coonoor coimbatore bangalore mysore trivandrum Chennai Kodaikanal Golconda fort...etc. you can easily see those in the list by search i dont know whether this is of much help, its not exactly tour of south india, but likewise... last summer we had gone to karnataka and TN north... so wqe first went to bangalore<awesome climate>,and saw nearby areas like tipu sultan's palace, the bangalore raja's palace, water rapids, etc. then we went to see all the temple areas nearby...ask any taxi cab that goes abt in such tour driving and he'll tell you gr8 places for temples etc. next we went to mysore, which was in fact on the way to ooty, you can see splendid temples and things there as well...i loved the pai vista hotel there...lolz you can go to see the king's palace...its MAGNIFICENT and worth the visit........ then we went further south, through the mudumalai tiger reserve which actually is on the NH,to ooty...you will enjoy the ride there...you can see the REAL south india in that reserve....just be careful not to confront tigers or stop the car there....you'll love the wildlife....tigers dont come on the road often anyway...keep to the longer path, the shorter path is steep and enters the core tiger area....not much preferable at this time of approaching monsoon, trust me. but as soon as you reach ooty, you can easily find lots of hotels tyhere... something new abt this place is that you dont really see a big township laying out....everything is very scattered,so its not really like darjeeling or gangtok or mahabaleshwar. you can see the various gardens there, and also some special temples they have. further,if you wish, you can go to some "wellington' there nearby,or further to coonoor by the toy train, that is wonderful! if you have more time go down further to kodaikanal if you wish...we didnt go as we had no time, but we've heard it is worth the visit.....we returned to bangalore from ooty, and flew back..:p but you can try going to andhra pradesh as well, and for TN,you must go to chennai and sort...the beaches are really great. you can easily go to goa from mumbai if you wish, but that is outta the track.... kerala is also something you must not miss...you can go to kerala from tamil nadu...kerala is gr8...venice of india...lol so,take care and enjoy the trip!!!
