I have been to both the places lots of time... Shimla might not be the place, if you are looking for the snow and snow sports... Go to Manali... If unluckily, you do not find snow there during your stay, just go a little up to Rohtang Pass... Its close by, may be 3-4 hours.. It has snow all round the year.. It is heaven.. You can enjoy all kind of snow sports that you would have heard of... Lovely Place... So, my recommendation is Manali... Have a lovely time...

NEITHER..those r shitty places visited by every damn joker Go discover Kinnaur this winter..or the Auli stretch in Uttarakhand also to be tried r Pangi valley and Lahaul n Spiti..but one location a yr is ok. contact Mohit Sharma 0 98 160 36912 best guy to help u and arrange eveything for u !
