Why ticket fare from Airline website is higher than that of Travel websites like yatra, makemytrip.com?

I booked Indian airlines air ticket from www.cleartrip.com for internal flight. But initially when I checked fare in indian airlines website it was 800Rs expensive that www.cleartrip.com.

Answer:
Airlines show full fares. Travel agents get discounted fares. They cannot show those on a normal airline site. Funny thing is that they pay agents after discounts to us!
