Which websites have best travel guides for travel in India?

Also there are various other sites: but these are not actually travel guides: these will help you plan your holiday by booking air tickets, hotel bookings etc : mustseeindia.com, yatra.com., travelguru.com. You could also check reviews on mouthshut.com, tripadvisor.com and search the net for individual places that you are interested in.

I have found that Wikitravel does a decent job for the larger cities in India. Recently found a website that is an India focused version of Wikitavel itself (i.e. wiki style) with a wide range of content that includes National Parks and Monuments in India - called Rang7.com. The is not a Tour Operator and doesn't seem to be selling anything. Another site that I also like is Mustseeindia
