What is the best route from coimbatore to manali?

  • i am a resident of Coimbatore south India and i am planning to visit kullu manali with my family could any body suggest me the best route to manali from Coimbatore.From i can take a flight from Coimbatore to Delhi and from Delhi i would prefer to go by train rather than bus

    Coimbatore to Delhi --by air Delhi to Manali by bus There are volvo bus available from Golmarket area from 5 pm onwards or you can go to ISBT kashmir gate and catch Roadways buses in the morning .It will take 12 hrs to reach Kulu .stay there ,visit Manikaran hot water spring .Next day come to Manali .Stay there for 5 days .Go to Lahul and spity area --Jaipur,Kaza ,Keylong .some 150 km from Manali ,Cab available .If you donot visit those area then I advise not to come Manali .The beauty of those area is simply out of the world

This is the best route my dear friend. Take a flight from coimbatore to Delhi then there are trains available from Delhi to Manali. You can also take Trains coming from Kerela and going to Delhi then from delhi you can change train to manali. (if dont want to go by bus)

Coimbatore to Delhi you plan to fly. Good ! Go up to Shimla by trains.Or go up to Kalka by train. Rest you have to go by road, whether by car or bus. The choice is yours. Another option : I understand flights are there up to Kullu ( Delhi - Chandigarh - Kullu). Then from Kulu by road to Manai.

The nearest airport for Manali is Bhuntar, 50 km ( Approx.) from Manali.. Suggest you go to Ashok Travels located in Trichy Road to book all your flight tickets from Coimbatore all the way until Bhuntar. Flight is the best and safe. Dont hassle it out on trains/buses etc..

Take flight to Delhi from Coimbatore.. As there is not direct train to Manali.. you can take Volvo AC bus to Manali from Delhi.. It the best way to reach Manali.. in time saving and comfortable journey.
