    It really depends on your budget and what you like to do. North Goa is more the party center while South Goa is more peaceful. As far as vegetarian food goes, if in North, there's a restaurant called Little Italy - there are many but this is in the lane that goes to Ondas Do Mar, Bardez Calangute. It's a 100% vegetarian Italian place with the most amazing food. When in Goa, try the fresh juices at the shacks on the beach and other stuff. You're in India so vegetarians never have a problem.
