What is the approx taxi fare from Trichur to Guruvayur?

  • I am visiting Guruvayur (Krishna Temple) this coming week. I'll be getting down at Trichur Railway station and proceeding to Guruvayur. Since time is of essence, I need to take a Taxi Cab to Guruvayur. 1) What is the approx fare from Trichur to Guruvayur? Only one direction. 4 adults + 2 kids. 2) Will I get taxi cab right outside the Trichur station? 3) Are the taxi drivers in Trichur/Guruvayur reasonable or do they cheat like in Chennai?     well to start with ur first question, from trichur to guruvayur by taxi is around 600 to 700. it wont go above 1000rs. yes there will be taxis available right outside the station. do u really want to take a taxi? its only 10 rs per person by bus. buses are always available in tricur city. u just need to catch an auto and go to the nearest bus stop. atleast the exendire will reduce. kerala is kerala after all. u better ask them the rate first and then board the taxi if the cost is reasonable.

u reach the trissur station go to the taxi stand which is near the station the taxi driver would say approx Rs.550 to 650 which is a imaginary rate By bargaining it would come to Rs.450 only if u bargain well taxi drivewr r dangerous so be careful.

People do not have time to reply all such questions - hence you do notget correct answers. However i am givng below the information wanted by you. Gurvayoor is at a distance of 25 kms from Trichur in Trichur dist. of Kerala. Lot of taxis and autos are available at Trichur and you can conveniently go to the temple. The rates are all fixed and they won't cheak ou. I have not gone there recently and it should be about Rs.200/= to 300/=. Or there are many buses plying between these places. and it will not cost more.
