    Soak Moong either overnight or for 2 to 4 Hrs. at least. Now cook along with rice , salt an haldi. If u want to make it tasty, fry diced onions, ginger garlic, till onions are golden brown. Add some diced tomatoes. Then add the rice, dal ,salt and haldi. Add water. Then cook till done.

Soak the Mung in water overnight. You might have microwave. You can microwave the Mung for 20 mins high power. Then boil rice in water on stove. When rice is half cooked, remove from stove and drain the water. Take a Deep Fry pan, add oil with Hing powder. You can put onions, or for that matter any cut vegetables. Cook the Onions and/or vegetables in the Oil. Add turmeric to onions/ vegetables when cooked. Add the half cooked rice, mung to the preparation. Add water as per your your requirement. If you want it dry add less water, if little wet add more. Bring it to heat till water is dry to your desired level. Salt for taste.
