Hello friends, i want to visit a good place in India in July i know its rainy season in July?

Though i don't have time after July, My exams will get over and soon i want to visit some good place in India.Don't want to go south.I thought to visit Darjeeling first but every blog says different things.So unable to decide.Please suggest me some good places to visit.It should have scenery's and greenery.But i want some crowdy places happening too.It will be 7 day's tour.So please suggest me some good places.Thank you in advance
