The Verification Certificate from officers of All India Services to get Indian passport under Tatkal scheme?

It was stated that the Verification Certificate from members of All India Service to get Indian passport under Tatkal scheme should also bear the reference number of Issuing Authority. What is meant by Reference No. Can the ID card No. along with a copy of his ID card be referred as Reference No. Please guide. Thanks

Answer:
ID No. means any identity proof with Photograph of concerned officer e.g. Driving license, Bank passbook with photograph, PAN card, etc. The photocopy of such certificate must be enclosed with the endorsement of that officer.
