How to avoid a sun tan in Goa?

  • Im going to Goa next month and I know its gona b very hot...I dont wana get tanned coz i have a wedding to attend a month after that..what all should i apply and which sunscreen..and how many times in the day..is there anything else i should do or apply..like i'll wear a hat n sunglasses and stuff..and should i apply oil on my body or anything like that?

    Hello Shradhha. Goa is pretty hot in May....and eitherways, not just the sun but the combination with the salt water will surely make you tan despite all lotions. (Am sure u plan a dip in the sea) You have 1 month after your holiday to work off your tan....thatz ample time. Just enjoy yourself in Goa. Do apply sun-block and avoid unnecessary exposure by using your hat etc. But once you return back, work on getting back your complexion with the help of some Skin-Bleach and home remedies like Gram flour mixed with Turmeric, etc. All the best. Have a swell holiday.

Trust me I have the exact same problem. I can get tanned in 5 minutes. Not even joking. No matter how much sun block I use, it doesn't work, because there is nothing to stop you from tanning. Sun block will only protect you from harmful sun rays. Just try and keep out of the sun as much as possible and wear a sun hat. But don't let the risk of tanning ruin your holiday just for the sake of a wedding and some old ladies who will gossip and say "oh gosh, hai ram look at how dark she is". Just be carefree and have lots of fun, wear a sun hat, sunglasses with caution (you may get tanned around the sunglasses which will look funny), and go on the beach after like 3-4 when sun isn't so bright. :)

Goa is no different to any other hot place where your likely goin to get a tan. But anyway if you don't want to go any darker cover up, put lots of sun cream on and wear a hat and sunglasses like you say. Or just dont go to Goa and there is nothing wrong with getting a tan anyway.
