Best places to visit during monsoon season - In or around India?

  • We are going to India July mid to end. Since its monsoon season, are there any places to visit within India or close to India. We were looking into Maldives but it seems monsoon there as well. Any ideas on thailand?

if planning to go india... u must visit this place called daman, itzz 3 hours away from mumbai by car.... but itz a wonderful place... few beaches n gardens around but itz a wicked place...

India will be very nice during monsoon. Kerala is the best place to visit in India. But Monsoon hits Kerala and Tamilnadu First. But the monsoon starts at the first or second weeks of June. So no problem I think. Or you can plan for North India. Delhi will be a nice place. Don't forget to visit the great wonder of India TAJ MAHAL. All the best.
