What is the best airlines to go to India?

  • Hey I've been planning to go to India for a while now, but the airline standards have changed since I last flew. What are the good airlines now? I'm going from US/Canada to Delhi. There's a new airlines called "Jet Airways", I heard this has really good food. Then there is Emirates, which has a small TV in every seat. There is also Lufthansa. Air India used to be good, but now it sucks.

    I have always found Gulf to be excellent in service and it has reasonable pricing. I have travelled by gulf many times. The only caveat is that it has 2 stops, one in Europe and second in Gulf. BA, Lufthansa,Emirates all fall under the pricy category. The non pricy ones that you can try are KLM or Swedish (travel agents usually do not talk about this airline), i do not know the reason but you can specifically ask them to give you a quote for it. I never ever travel by Air India. It is pricy and as you said its service su....

I usually fly Air India from US and I like it. I hear British Airways is good too. Usually I'm on a budget when going to India, so Air India is the best option.
