Buses between wadakkanchery and guruvayur?

We are planning to visit guruvayur this week. When i searched in net the distance between guruvayur and trissur has been mentioned as 25 kms (approx) where as the distance between wadakkanchery is around 30. But are there frequent buses from wadakkanchery. I know there are frequent buses from trissur. But my train stops at wadakkanchery, Punkunnam and trissur. What would be the best place to alight down to reach guruvayur.

Thrissur is best place to reach guruvayur quickly. you can catch bus in front of the Thrissur railway station itself for Guruvayur. For every 15 minutes a bus is available.
