I believe Taj Mahal was actualy a Shiva Temple. Its modified to Taj Mahal, its present form with order from Shahjahan. Pls find the link http://funpen.org/index.php/2008/12/its-actually-tejo-mahalaya-not-taj-mahal to find out more about it. Although Indian Supreme court declared this claim as invalid - I believe some of these facts are true.
