Where, When and How to travel in India ?
-
Hey ! I am thinking to travel to India in the beginning of July on my own. My plan was/is to travel to Southern India and then travel by road all the way through to Nepal. Could you recommend me which parts of India I should see? Is travelling by road hard or expensive? Would it take a long time to get from Southern India to Nepal ? Or maybe I shoud skip the South and fly to Mumbai and travel from there? Can one predict what the weather will be in a month? Will the monsoon be over? What is the cheapest airline to travel from London? I need some advices ! Thank You so much !

Answer:
How long do you wish to stay in India? From south India to Nepal you will travel around 5 nights by land. South India, the good place to see is Kerala (Kochi, Trivandrum....), Tamil Nadu (Ooty.......). I recommend you to fly to Kerala first. Spend 3-5 nights in Kerala then continue to Chenai or Bangalore. Visit Ooty, Pygara, Mysore.............travel to Orissa, stay there for a few days, continue to Kolkata, kolkata to Uttar Pradesh, You should not miss Taj Mahal of India. Travel from Uttar Pradesh to Bihar and you can go to Nepal from Bihar border. More information contact me [email protected]. I had been to India once, stayed for 3 months and traveled from south to north.

WELCOME TO INDIA Freind u r coming at the peak of the monsoon to india.Southern India is besically famous for its temples, few hill stations and seashores. here climate will be very hot with comparison to London. So in my opinion u should prefer northern & eastern part of india becoz of its cool climate. As u desired to travel by road all the way to Nepal, u should start your journey from Delhi (the capital of india). see the entire north mainly the hill stations like Kashmir, Ladakh,Manali,Rohtang Pass, Shimla,Nanital, Ranikhet,Almorah, Kaushani,Mussorie, Kedarnath, Badrinath and beautiful Delhi also. Entire north is well connected with good roads so better u prefer road routes to see real India. After north u can take the road route to reach eastern part of India. Grand trunk road is connecting north to east.Eastern hill stations are also very beautiful like Darjeeling, Gangtok, Peling,Yongthang Arunachalpradesh, Meghalaya etc and finally there r several places in Bihar state to enter Nepal through road. Road route may be a bit expensive and tiring also but u will surely enjoy it. WISH U A HAPPY JOURNEY
