Hindus Are Celebrating Divali (Lights) Despite The Fact That Many Hindus Are Still Living In Darkness???

  • Divali is a festival of lights. Hindus can only truly celebrate the festival of lights when Hindus come out of darkness and ignorance. Millions of Hindus are living in poverty, while the wealthy Hindus stuff their fat faces. There is no unity, solidarity and brotherhood within the Hindu civilisation. Rather than elevating each other and helping each other to excel, Hindus always drag each other down. In India (which is the only hindu majority country), Hinduism is not even the national religion, politicians openly insult Hindus and many in the government, political establishment, intellegentsia, media regard Hinduism as a force that needs to be destroyed. Hinduism is not taught in schools. Pro-Hindu people are always regarded as communalistic and fascist. Many Hindus (especially the young) don't have a clue what Hinduism is and less and less Hindus are practicing their religion. Is there any bloody point in even celebrating "Divali"? It is a big farce, and a false show!!!

    Hinduism has been systematically destroyed by the political system since independence. The little light that flickers during Diwali should continue to light up the poor and illiterate till the bright light of Diwali shines on all Hindus.I do not believe that Hindus bring down other Hindus. In a competitive world outperforming the next person is the name of the game.It happens in all religions and communities.

There is no unity, solidarity and brotherhood within ANY RELIGION/civilisation. Majority of people in the world do many things in their life that is a BIG FARCE and a FALSE SHOW, including yourself..think about it.

Hi Even in the most prosperous country, poor people R bound to B there.India has some more . Does it mean that they should not have even four days of light , sweets & fragrance ?Let's not deny them small pleasures of life. Do U agree?

to become enlightened you require lot light, the evil outshone by good , the verdict is good always triumphs in the end. Though more are in darkness let us join together and bring them to light and show them the good world.

first of all you need to get a dman head on that neck of yours and second just becuase there are poor people in a certain country doesnt mean that everything should stop, in fact that will exacerbate the problems there i;'m sure that whatever country that you are from has their fair share of problems also. "divali" as you called is properly spelled "deepavali" smart one. and just a tip to people who answer this question after me... tell me if you agree with what i said.

I think Mr you are living in dark, India is full of resources, World's richest person is from India, about 80% IT professionals are Indians, They have guts to excel and they are doing it. Though there is some economic parity which ll be normalised in few years. Yoy dont have right to talk on Hinduism, it is one of most liberal religion in the world, here every one is free to practice, India is a secular country. Wake up Mr.
