Why is there so much hate against south indians?

Its the stupid politicians should turns geographical divide into political divide. Please do not make any generalisation We are neither north Indian or South Indian. We are just Indian. JAI HIND.

you can not generalised that only north indians hate south indian ....these type of people are every where ...i am north indian woman and i have felt this behaviour and that too from some learned aged person but i have forgotten ( not forgiven) and moved on .

I am a North Indian and I dont hate South Indians. In fact I find them to be extremely friendly & good-natured people once they open up. But when I meet them the first time they seem to be aloof & keep to themselves. Its kind of irritating. And as far as racial comments are concerned I think most Indians are racists. So much racial crap makes the daily news.

Politicians are the ones to be blamed for all this, the divide, the racism, and any other which destabilizes the region, in particular to India and the sub continent you will find that mostly older people with money are always elected and when they lose or win they tend to act like war lords and become gangsters, you look at a prime example currently with Gujarat,Mr.Modi is a nutter who is currently on trial and he was the prime instigator of Riots between Hindus and Muslims, which has shamed the good name of India. Your ancestors and also the renowned and worthy leaders during the time of fighting for Independence never ever expected that India would turn out to be heading in that direction.You look at India in Economic terms, India is amongst the fore runners in GDP but when it comes to Cast,Religion and other similar factors there is shamefully and a divide to this day.
