I need a low rent flat in Pune.

Relocating to Pune. Need to get settled in a better area.?

  • I am Relocating to Pune from Chennai by next week. I need to rent a house and get settled. My offfice is in Kothrud (Dahanukar Colony). I want to rent a house near my office (within 10 minutes reach). Is it possible to get a rented house there? What will be the localities in Kothrud best suited for me? My budget is Rs.6,000 to 7,000 Max.for a rented house (I am single). I Want to be stay near to my office but also have good access to super markets and other restaurants. and if you know any good house you can contact me: +91-9840304201.

    SORRY VENKY, ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO GET A HOUSE IN 6000/- OR 7000/-.. YA YOU MIGHT GET A SMALL 2 BHK FLAT IN THAT AREA BUT RENTS WILL BE AS HIGH AS 12000/- SEMIFURNISHED DEPENDING ON THE SOCIETY IN WHICH YOU ARE TAKIN A HOUSE....

Sorry to disappoint you Venky... Kothrud is very expensive. You WILL NOT get a decent flat (1BHK) within your budget. I say 'decent' because there is always a possibility that a 1 BHK may be available in the couple of slum pockets in the area. You may have to up your budget to 10K to get a decent flat. Alternately, you may get a bachelor pad at your budget... Single room or shared flat - This is aplenty because of MIT and other colleges in Kothrud area.

Are you looking for a house or an apartment? just asked since you are single. Dahanukar colony,Kothrud,Karve Nagar and surrounding areas are a good residential place to live. You should be able to get a decent apartment in your budget. For housing Mahatma Society is also cool however there are mostly all bungalows there. As for super markets and restaurants..of course they are in abundance around here.

Kothrud is a nice area to live in. Most of the parts of Kothrud are good to stay in. Unfortunately the budget is low. Kothrud is expensive area to live in. If you are comfy with PG idea, look for Paying Guest spaces. With separate rooms etc will be okay for you.

You will definitly get a rented flat 1BHK in Warje for @ 7000 Its not as hiped area as Kothrud-Dahanukar colony , but i think it suffices all your requirements.. More, Spencers grocery stores nearby.. on a 2 wheeler u can reach Dahanukar colony in 10 mins easily.

Try increasing ur budget by another Rs 2000 & you'll get a decent flat in Kothrud.
