Is anyone familiar with the route to Queretaro from Minnesota via Laredo, Texas?

Can anyone tell me how is the Mumbai to Goa route via NH4 during monsoons?

  • I am driving down next week to Goa with family and hence wanted to know if the route is safe.

    NH4 connects Mumbai and Chennai. Mumbai to Pune stretch is 4 lane / expressway. This is easier to travel and you will save lot of travel time on this section. From Pune to Kolhapur the road is not exactly as wide as it is between Mumbai and Pune. There are several towns on this section which hampers vehicular movement. And there are couple of ghat sections which also take more time and driving skills. From Kolhapur, take a turn to Phonda ghat / Kankavli. Join to Mumbai to Goa highway near this town. From this town the Maharashtra - Goa border is nearby. You will cross over in Goa and the first major town will be Mapuca / Mapusa. Roads are narrower on this stretch. Exercise caution while driving. The entire stretch is safe for family drive.
