Distance between Mumbai central train station and Chatrapatti shivaji Intnl Airport Mumbai????

Please help to find ans of my question. " Distance between Mumbai Cenral (V.T) Train Station and Mumbai International airport. What time it will take to travel in a taxi between above 2 places and fare charges please; as i am travling first time to mumbai. thanks

The distance from V.T. Station to Mumbai International Airport is about 25 kilometres. you can travel from Mumbai V.T. to either Kurla or to Andheri Railway Station by suburban train. It will take about half an hour to reach Kurla or approx. 45 minutes to reach Andheri. International airport is about 6 kilometres from Andheri Railwat Station. you can take an Auto from Andheri Railway Station. If you are travelling to kurla, you can take an Auto from there. It will take about 15 to 20 minutes from these Railway Stations to reach International Airport. If you are travelling by Taxi from V.T. Station, it will cost you about rs. 350/- and will take about one to one and half hours depending the traffic condition.

domestic terminal = 17 kms international terminal = 22 kms taxi fare: for domestic = 160/- for international terminal = 200/- note: simply go by meter,don't ask the cab driver how much he will charge. in Mumbai payable fare in taxis = meter reading X 14 e.g. if ur meter reading =5.00,the payable amount = 70/- that's all. travelling time = 45 mts for domestic terminal and 1 hr for int'l terminal - depends on at what time u will travel.there can be indefinite traffic jam in the evening between 6pm and 9pm...and u may miss ur flight in the morning/day time the best option is: take a slow local train(andheri or borivali local) from platform no 2 of mumbai-central, get down at vile-parle,from there domestic terminal-2kms only(east side/right hand side), rs 13/- by auto.if u r going to the international terminal, get down at andheri , go to the east side(right hand side), take an auto for "sahar airport". note: in auto the payable fare=(meter reading X 10)-1
