1 day sight seeing in Mumbai . what are the options?

  • Im flying to goa from delhi via Mumbai on honeymoon. Reaching Mumabi at 10:30 AM. and then leaving for Goa in night by volvo bus. So i have almost 10 hours to spend in mumbai which I want to spend for sightseeing. Can someone suggest me how can i plan this 1 day trip within mumbai.

    Probably Mumbai Darshan Buses a hundred rupees only or so per seat - includes probably amazing Mumbadevi & Mahalaxmi also; Rs. 40 daily in the bus pass per person (they had been withdrawn); similarly daily train pass ; Rs. 14/- min. hired taxi fare with waiting; Rs 5/- onwards per km Santro (phone) / Merc cab / tourist car with waiting / lunch hour (toll free nos)

if its 1 st time in Mumbai, hire a taxi.. first visit gateway of India.. then go to Marine Drive... Then Haji Ali/Worli seaface.. then go via Bandra Worli Sea Link( its also a good bridge to see) to Bandra Bandstand area & then Juhu... I guess this plan will cover your full day... Depending on from which area you Goa Bus will depart, you can cut short above plan to accomodate the timings.. at Mumbai Airport , you are ask taxi driver to tell you fix cost for full day above tour instead of going by meter.. I guess, they will charge you not more than 2000 Rs(Non AC)....u can bargain..if you feel they are asking too much money. If you feel they are asking too much( which may be common case near airport/railway station area); then just walk down outside the airport & ask any free taxi's on the road..that way you can get a good & cheaper bargain

for shoping linking road n fashion street..& visit sidhivinayak temple & gateway of india & in evening a long walk at marine drive..also visit juhu beach..enjoy

For a single day sightseeing Marine Drive, Juhu Beach, Siddhivinayak temple would be good option. You can try them.
