Which is better place to live: Mumbai or Kolkata?

I am planning to settle in a place away from my present place.
Answer:

mumbai. for its cosmopolitan nature. kolkata for its love of arts and literature. both the cities are better places to live. depends on the area you settle down.

Depends on your budget. As some of them have mentioned here.. Mumbai is expensive. Kolkata's cost of living is very less. So keeping this aspect in mind I would say Kolkata. Also Mumbai trains and traffic is bad, Kolkata is relatively good. Climate is also good in Kolkata. People are very friendly. Choice is yours! let me know what you decide.
