Trip to vaishno devi, ex-Delhi?

• i am planning a trip Vaishno devi with my family and would need some pointers kindly help 1. want to go by train as far as possible 2. want to complete the entire journey to and fro Delhi plus Darshan in 3-days at most. 3. was planning taking a helicopter ride, but parents insist they want to do it on foot (may be willing to consider horses or palki). suggest best option in that case 4. need some pointers for places to stay etc as well as for arrangement of Darshan tickets. 5. my parents are old, so while time is of essence do not want to push them hard as well. there should be time to relax etx as well. 6. would like to go to all sites enroute to the shrine and also bhairon ghati pl suggest a feasible plan... please help!
