Should I visit Delhi in June next year?

I have a plan to visit Delhi in Mid June ,can i know is this the right time to visit?

  • I am staying in Bangalore and iam palnning to visit Delhi,Agra and other nearest palces ,wanted to know if this would be the right time to to visit.

    Mid June marks the transition in climate from hot, dry summer to hot, humid uncomfortable weather. So, if you're coming from Bengaluru, it should not cause much discomfort to you in mid-June, as it more or less closes-in on Monsoon- the rainy season. The max temp remains regulated during this period, peaking upto a max of say... 35 degrees. However, during May-June the max temp peaks frequently to beyond 45 degrees. In the end, though, the people of North India feel comfortable during the dry, hot period. It is upto you now to see if you can stand the climate prevailing then! :)

If you have any plan to visit Delhi-Agra and other nearest places then I would better like to tell you that in June it is nothing but the worse... as this time Delhi and its nearest places would be burning with the hot waves so better postpone your plan for the October and November this is the time when you can enjoy the trip to these places.

Yes. Caveats: 1. Extremely hot. Walking around is suicidal. 2. Beware of food poisoning. Medical insurance is a must. 3. The plate which your meal is served on and the tea cup which your tea is served in may well be tainted by bacteria even at a posh restaurant. 4. When you order a bottle of water, get the waiter to open it in front of you. 5. Talk with your doctor and take antibiotic with you.
