Metro route from Pitam Pura to reach Delhi Cantt railway station?

  • Can anyone tell me the route for reaching Delhi Cantt Railway station through metro train? Which one is the nearest metro station to Delhi Cantt? The starting station will be Pitam Pura. Please give relevant information as i have to reach the place tomorrow morning!!

    Hi, There is no direct Metro link to Delhi Cantt Railway Station. You have two options to reach Delhi Cantt Railway Station i.e. From Pitampura to Kashmir Gate Red Line Metro. Then take the Yellow Line Metro from Kashmir Gate to New Delhi. From New Delhi Metro Station to Dhula Kuan Metro Station By Airport Express link...... From Dhula Kuan Station to Delhi Cantt Railway Station by Bus or Auto... The other options is that from Pitampura to Indrolok Station. Take the Green line Metro from Indralok to Ashok park station get down there and take there to Kirti nagar metro train from Ashok park to Kirti Nagar( 5-10 minutes train frequency). Then you have to change again the blue line metro from Kirti Nagar to Janakpuri West... or Uttam Nagar..... From their you have to take bus or auto to reach Delhi Cantt Railway Station....... Buses no 724 will very frequent in this route. Or you have the options to take auto from Pitampura to Delhi Cantt railway station...... Thanks

Hey!!! I'd rather not suggest you to travel via Metro. Take an Auto because that will take less time. Further, the road from Pitam Pura is direct till Delhi Cantt Railway Station. All you need toi do is to catch either 879 or 761 from Pitam Pura and get down at Janak Puri District Center. From there, you may catch an auto which will not charge more that Rs.50.00 and he will drop you at the Delhi Cantt Railway Station. Metro will be tiresome and costly in such a case.

Hello Dear, Delhi Cantt Railway Station is not connected with Metro train. If you are interested to take metro drive to reach Delhi cantt the options to take Pitampura -> Kashmir Gate -> New Delhi -> Dhula Kuan(Airport Express way) and than take to Auto or Bus from Dhaula Kuan to Delhi Cantt Station......... The other chance to reach to take Pitampura -> Kashmir Gate -> Rajiv Chowck -> Janakpuri West and then to take Bus or Auto Rickshaw to reach Delhi Cantt.... The other alternate Options is direct Auto Rickshaw or take Bus from madhuban chowck to Dhaula Kuan Route ( outer Ring road bus take few extra time to reach Delhi Cantt railway station).... Thanks
